Aster DM Healthcare, one of India’s leading integrated healthcare providers, has invested ₹96 crore to expand its Women & Children facility at Aster Whitefield Hospital in Bengaluru.
Following the expansion, the hospital’s total bed capacity will increase from 380 to 539 beds, with the addition of a dedicated 159-bed Women & Children unit. The facility will provide comprehensive maternity care, covering the entire continuum from preconception to childbirth.
The expanded unit will offer a range of specialised services, including water birthing, advanced laparoscopic gynaecology, a child development centre, foetal medicine and surgery, a Level 3A NICU, fertility services, neonatal and paediatric surgical care, as well as a paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and high-dependency unit (HDU), the company said.
